Dr. Venet received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2002. He then relocated to North Carolina to work as a dentist in the state´s Rural Health Services program. For two years, he worked for the underserved residents and migrant farm workers in Nash County, North Carolina. He found the experience to be very rewarding and a way to give back to the community. While working as an associate dentist, he became inspired to open his own practice. Shortly thereafter, he began to research the Garner area, and laid the groundwork to fulfill his dream. In December 2005, he opened the doors to Venet Family Dentistry. On Valentine´s Day 2006, Dr. Venet married his dental school sweetheart, Dr. Tracie L. Vaughan. Together, they practice dentistry and run the day to day operations of Venet Family Dentistry.

Dr. Venet is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. He stays current with the latest trends in general dentistry by participating in numerous continuing education courses throughout the year and subscribing to several professional journals.

Dr. Venet resides in Clayton, North Carolina with his wife. His interests include fishing, boating, golfing and gardening.

Dr. Vaughan graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2002. She relocated to North Carolina shortly thereafter to work as a dentist in the state´s Rural Health Services program. For four years, she worked to provide much needed dental care for underserved residents and migrant farm workers in the Wilson County and Nash County areas. She enjoyed making a difference in the lives of the people she served and found that experience to be very rewarding. In 2007, she joined her husband Dr. Lawrence Venet at their practice in Garner, North Carolina.

Dr. Vaughan is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She stays current with the latest trends in general dentistry by participating in several continuing education courses throughout the year.

Dr. Vaughan resides in Clayton, North Carolina with her husband. Her interests include reading, traveling and spending time with family.

Casey graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2001. Casey enjoys all aspects of dentistry and she works very hard to give her patients the best of care. Casey participates in continuing education to refine her skills and stay current with the latest trends in dentistry. She is married, with a beautiful baby girl. Her family also includes two “furry” children, Maddie the dog and Willow the kitty. Casey loves spending quality time with her family.

Holly graduated from Wake Technical Community College in 2007. She has a passion for dentistry and continues to strive for excellence. Holly participates in annual continuing education courses as well as work related projects. She is married with a handsome little boy. In her spare time, she enjoys scrap booking, four wheeling, beach activities and spending time with family and friends.

Dentistry is a profession that Toni enjoys and she continues to sharpen her skills with annual continuing education since 2003. Toni grew up in the town of Garner, which gives her the inside edge with our local patients. She loves seeing familiar faces on a daily basis. Toni is married with two beautiful children. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends.

Julie graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2001. Julie goes above and beyond to provide the best comprehensive oral care available for her patients. She spends quality time with her patients, educating them on their dental needs. Julie stays current with the latest trends in dental hygiene by attending several continuing education courses throughout the year and reading dental publications. She is married with three wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.

Renee graduated from Wayne County Community College in 2006. She enjoys being a dental hygienist, as it allows her to see patients on their first visit to our office. She loves educating our patients about their dental health and helping our “nervous” patients to alleviate their fear of dental treatment. Renee stays current on the latest trends in Hygiene by attending continuing education throughout the year and reading dental publications. Renee is married with two beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Ludy is an essential part of our dental team. She cleans and inspects all instruments for use in the office. Ludy works very hard to ensure that our patients have a clean environment for their dental treatment. She is constantly looking for ways to help our patients to feel at home. Ludy has two beautiful daughters and one granddaughter. In her spare time, Ludy enjoys her flower garden and spending time with her family, friends and her dog.

Lisa has been in the dental field since 2005. As our patient coordinator, it is her goal to greet every patient with a warm smile and to make every patient feel welcome. She ensures the accuracy of all patient information and she works very closely with our patients to make their appointment times as convenient as possible. Lisa is happily married and enjoys spending time with her husband. She loves music, song writing, playing the piano and taking weekend trips to the beach with her husband on their motorcycle.

Tonia received her certification from Wake Forest School of Medicine in 1997. She has participated in several Dental Practice Management courses in the state of North Carolina as well as the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Her broad knowledge of dental management as well as her understanding of all aspects of dental care helps her to manage the day to day operations of a busy dental practice. Tonia has a passion for developing and opening new dental offices. She loves working closely with our staff members to provide excellent dental care for our patients. Tonia is married with two amazing boys. She enjoys weekends at the beach, fishing, and boating with family and friends.
